Zoopla are on an exciting journey to establish itself as the UK’s leading Digital Property destination.

We are looking for a Commercial Sales Analyst with a proven track record in understanding sales operational data and transforming it into business insights.

Working in a highly collaborative team you will liaise with Zoopla’s clients and internal stakeholders to assess requirements, develop approaches and implement solutions that will aid our commercial operations.

This is a key role in providing a fast-moving business and our customers with the insight it needs to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic account reviews : Analyse customer performance data and generate business insights supporting our strategic account managers with their regular account reviews and bespoke analysis requests
  • Strategic account reporting : Develop and maintain customer facing performance reports
  • Customer performance KPIs and dashboards : Develop and maintain a set commercial KPI’s, metrics and dashboards to support the commercial and product teams understand how our customer base is performing
  • Bid management : Provide planning and bid management support to Sales and Account Management teams
  • Build analytical capability within commercial team : Support and guide business users & analysts to access the data required for insight / analysis for commercial activity
  • Commercial forecasting : Assist with commercial team with financial forecasting, planning and managing revenue risk and opportunities throughout the year
  • Operating review support : Support regular reporting efforts for quarterly and monthly operating reviews
  • Requirements

    Key skills we'd like you to bring to this role :

  • Experience in working with commercial teams and direct with clients or at least a strong desire to work closely with customers to help them achieve desired results
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills to both technical and business stakeholders or clients
  • Strong analytical mind, enabling you to question, understand and articulate data in a simple but informative way
  • An excellent understanding of managing data and gaining insight from back office systems (ideally Salesforce)
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders, understanding their needs and bringing data to life
  • Ability to apply statistics and metrics in a business setting
  • Highly numerate & analytical with an excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven experience of working within a fast-moving agile business with changeable and competing priorities.
  • Nice to have :

  • Property or market-place experience : understanding of the property industry
  • Experience of Salesforce and / or Zendesk
  • Knowledge or experience of BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.) to create models and dashboards
  • Experience, or willing to learn, SQL / database technology (e.g. AWS Redshift, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
