Teaching Personnel are currently seeking experienced Support Workers for full time positions in a Secondary School / Residential unit based just South of Andover.
The specialist residential care unit works in coordination with the secondary school, providing outstanding levels of care and help for children and young people.
These pupils can have varied needs, but will mainly include Autism.
The provision provides outstanding support for their service users, working to progress their independent living, stabilising their lives through emotional support.
The provision is looking for new members of staff to support the children and young adults.
This is an excellent opportunity for applicants who have the desire to make this a long-term career, as the provision is looking for full time members of staff to go on a permanent basis.
The Role :
Hours - 40 Hours / week (Term time only)
Monday - Friday
Early shifts - 7.30 15 : 00
Late shifts - 14 : 30 22 : 00
Saturday and Sunday
Early shifts - 8 : 00 - 17 : 00
Late shifts - 13 : 00 - 22 : 00
Some staff work one shift every weekend some staff work two shifts every other weekend.
Pay - £10.00 per hour
Ideal candidates will need own transport as the public transport isn't accessible during these hours.
Candidates must have a passion for mentoring young adults and children with needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
