  • Bachelor's degree, MBA, or equivalent degree
  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager and leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience as coaching others in agile / product roles
  • Experience with building consumer quality products, enabling business capability and objectives through technology
  • Strong product instinct to build great products developing overall vision, product roadmaps, competitive analysis, insightful user feedback, commercial focus, and data-driven decisions
  • Knowledge and understanding of modern technical engineering practices (e.g., DevOps, continuous integration, etc.)
  • Proficient with design thinking, drawing storyboards, creating wireframes, creating grooming’ product backlogs, writing user stories and developing acceptance criteria
  • Relentless prioritization and alignment with business and IT stakeholders to ensure highest value capture
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage client expectations effective and not get overwhelmed by client pressures on team
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior client executives on transforming towards agile and product delivery
  • Ability to move between strategic discussions with senior client leaders to tackle on the ground coaching with teams
  • Skills to effectively communicate complex ideas in English (other languages benefit)
  • You will be well versed in key aspects of the product, design, business, and technology. You will be at the intersection of business strategy, client and implementation vendors and you'll be responsible for translating abstract visions into reality, while managing client expectations as well as team efficiency.

    You will also be proficient in multiple aspects of the agile deliverables required for a digital team to build successful products.

    This includes customer insight, hands on development of storyboards, wireframes, product prioritization, roadmap develop, user stories, product KPI (OKRs), monitoring and commercialization.

    You'll be part of our growing McKinsey Digital team in our London office. This group brings together the best of McKinsey’s digital capabilities to help our clients to transform their businesses.

    As part of this group, you’ll join a global team working on everything from IT modernization and strategy to agile, cloud, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and business reinvention.

    You’ll typically work on projects across various industries and functions and will be fully integrated with the rest of our global firm.

    You’ll also work with colleagues from across McKinsey & Company to help our clients deliver breakthrough products, experiences, and businesses, both on technology and non-technology topics.

    You will lead the execution of digital product development and transformation projects for leading industry players in the UK.

    You are a strategic thinker and hands-on executor who motivates and collaborates peers on cross-functional teams.

    In this role you will be a core member of the McKinsey consulting team with responsibilities that include shaping strategic product vision, developing concept, build client’s capabilities, helping team adopt agile product delivery and growing adoption whilst also work closely with senior stakeholders.

    You will engage on some of the most challenging business problems facing our clients. These can range from creating new disruptive start-ups, rapid process re-inventions at leading financial institutions, big data’ analytics at large scale retail organizations, to consumer facing app development for traditional industries.

    In each situation, as a Product Manager, you will be at the heat of solving the problem, advising our most senior clients on how to successful execute on their strategic vision with digital means.
