The opportunity :

Reporting to the Head of UK Operations Property, you will be working closely with the national and regional teams, to deliver on operational objectives.

The role :

Your responsibilities will include :

Working closely with the Head of Operations and the operational regional team, to deliver on the following objectives :

  • Financial performance as against the set regional budget, to include Effectively managing regional resource within the set headcountRevenue / Time logging targetsEffectively managing aged WIPAssisting credit control to recover debtIdentification of possible recruitment requirements as appropriate within the budget or when opportunities identified to aid profitable growth of the region
  • Delivery of excellent and consistent regional performance against set performance measures such as Client SLA’sException reportsExternal auditsInternal QA measuresCompliments / Engage initiativeComplaints
  • Management of own caseload and involvement in supporting the cases handled by the team as required to include Assist with complaint resolutionMentoringSupport during holidays and sickness leave
  • Continual review of processes, systems and methodologies with the aim of providing The most efficient method of workingNew and innovative solutions to what we doAccurate MI on all casesA high energy and exciting work environmentMarket leading on boarding process
  • Promote and facilitate an environment for staff development through the following Delivery of timely appraisals for the regionEncourage and drive professional qualifications within the regionFacilitate delivery of identified training needs and requirementsOrganise delivery of appropriate mentoringAssist with succession planning through the identification of individuals and subsequent provision of opportunities for development of technical and management skills
  • Support the provision of the Major Loss Practice by working closely with the Head of Major Loss for your Area and liaising over all aspects of common interest and mutual benefit.
  • This will include Helping to identify additional / future major loss capability across the AreaEnsure delivery against the requirements from the Head of Major Loss for the AreaEncouraging technical development and learning

  • Support the provision of Specialist Practices by working closely with the Product Heads and liaising over all aspects of common interest and mutual benefit.
  • This will include Helping to identify additional / future specialist capability across the AreaEnsure delivery against the requirements from the Product HeadsEncouraging technical development and learning

  • Identify and deliver on regional growth opportunities by Working closely with the Head of Operations on an Area / Regional Broker strategyWorking with the regional team to identify opportunities and assisting with the delivery of those opportunitiesPromote an environment of client focus and encourage and facilitate client interaction at all levels.
  • Providing suitable resource to participate in the Account Management of existing or prospective Insurer clients.

    About you Knowledge and Experience :

    The successful Candidate will have experience in the commercial loss adjusting sector and have significant team management experience including coaching and mentoring.

    They will also have strong stakeholder management skills including the ability to establish strong working relationships.

    Successful candidates will have excellent negotiation, decision making and problem solving-skills and be highly self-motivated and driven.

    The individual will also take pride in delivering outputs on time, with a focus on quality, communication and organisation.
