TotallyMoney is a FinTech scale-up based near Old Street’s Silicon Roundabout, positioned between Shoreditch’s cutting-edge start-

ups and the City’s forward-looking financial institutions.

TotallyMoney puts customers in control of their data and empowers them to make better financial decisions. Using consumer and market data, we can better match customers to the financial products that work for them.

We’ve built an industry-leading suite of tools to explain to customers why they got their credit score, what it means, and how to improve it.

Your Approach

As a UI Designer, you'll be an integral part of a growing Design team. You’ll work in close collaboration with UX Designers, Product Managers, Marketing, Head of Design, and internal stakeholders to understand business objectives, articulate user goals, and translate these needs into effective design solutions.

You’re obsessed about the aesthetics of digital experiences. You're visionary in your mindset but pragmatic in your approach, and you have a keen eye for detail.

You have a deep understanding of the end-to-end design process, and are comfortable conceptualising, refining, and iteratively evolving your creative solutions.

You’re methodical in your approach, and instinctively share and inspire others by inviting them into your design process.

You’re curious, devoted to your craft, committed to learning, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

You will be doing

  • Creating a clear, cohesive, and compelling vision for our new brand identity.
  • Develop our visual identity guidelines to support the evolution of our brand.
  • Brand guardianship to evolve a coherent visual language.
  • Cultivating a strong sense of empathy designing for user behaviours, needs and goals.
  • Ensuring a cohesive experience across all platforms, channels, and touchpoints.
  • Contribute to building a scalable design system.
  • Create a UI Kit and standardise use of design patterns across the team.
  • Cultivating and maintaining design pattern consistency.
  • Crafting simple, engaging and effective design solutions.
  • Keep abreast of design trends, cultural shifts and emerging best practices.
  • Experience

  • Degree in Design or Fine Arts preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ professional experience (including an in-house design team).
  • Experience designing for software or large-scale transactional sites.
  • Experience creating or working with Design Systems.
  • Experience designing for responsive websites
  • Experience designing for native mobile apps (iOS or Android).
  • Expert-level knowledge of design workflow and collaboration tools : Sketch, Zeplin, Adobe suite, JIRA.
