We are currently working in partnership with a growing FinTech organisation with a global presence. The team in Edinburgh operates as a innovative software house where software engineers get the opportunity to work with a varied tech stack and find news ways to provide software solutions.
They have gone through an exciting restructure of their software development function and have formed four main squads'.
They are now looking to hire a Senior Java Developer to add to the existing team.
Some of the key requirements for this role are as follows :
Knowledge / experience of Java 8 features and Java EE 6 or later
Understanding of application of Design Patterns in OO programming
Understanding of principles of Unit Testing, exposure to Junit
Use of Spring Framework / understanding of Dependency Injection and Inversion of Control
Mentoring junior members of the team
Experience with JDBC / Hibernate
Knowledge of Java NIO / Apache MINA
Experience with Web Services / Testing with Soap UI
