We are looking for an experienced candidate for the position of Programme Delivery Manager. Travelex is embarking on a strategic program in a next-

generation omni-commerce platform to help Travelex evolve into customer centric and a multi-product / multi-channel company.

As the Programme Delivery Manager reporting into the Global Head of Channels you will be directly responsible for building a new operating model at Travelex people, process and technology, manage the day to day execution / administration of the programme, ensuring it sets and maintains a gold standard in programme delivery and end-

to-end governance. This role is strategic as well as hands-on. Ideal candidate is someone who is experienced, creative and has a passion to change the world by building great products.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Plan, build and manage the entire program delivery lifecycle including Program Operating Model, Program Governance Model, Program Execution Model (bi-
  • weekly sprints), Integrated overall plan, cost and status tracking / reporting, RACI, Stakeholder Engagement Plan, Communication Plan and RAID.

  • Setup required work streams and verify the resources required for delivery, as listed in the business case; and confirm time estimates.
  • Secure the project resources within the supporting functions and manage their ongoing participation in the project.

  • Leverage and apply expertise in regards to Change Management to implement transformational projects working closely with product and process change functions at Travelex.
  • Responsible for identifying critical path and dependency map. Manage dependencies by working closely with the corresponding project / program managers to avoid any slippage.
  • Ensure the responsibilities of the resources involved in the project are clearly understood and agreed to - including the vendor, business stakeholders, and Data Platform project team members.
  • Assigns actions, and monitors project work to ensure that progress is within expected guidelines and is completed on time and within budget.
  • Proactively resolve and escalate risks and issues where necessary that are blocking successful project delivery.
  • Mentor and provide expertise to other project team members, in line with the programme’s culture of excellence, transparency and positive collaboration.
  • Ensure programme level actions are documented by team members in the programme RAID log, track progress and manage slippage with action owners.
  • Document programme level issues and actively work with the stakeholders on resolutions.
  • Manage the decision log both decisions required and decisions taken. Highlight any decision that might take the programme off the critical path.
  • Identifies, tracks, monitors, communicates and resolves project-related risks, issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of the project.
  • Maintains an audit trail of project deliverables, including change control, reviews and approvals.
  • To set you up for success you will bring with you

  • Experience in delivery of technology projects and in SaaS technology projects with at least one instance of delivery of a similar project in a Fortune 500 company, working closely with trading organization on the delivery of customer facing solutions.
  • Strong Agile and Waterfall execution.
  • Experience in managing 3rd party suppliers contract review, vendor relationship, holding vendors to account for delivery etc.
  • Experienced in managing off shore teams, particularly India. Willing to spend at least 50% of program time in Mumbai.
  • Develop and maintain constructive relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of tasks, be able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Be able and willing to challenge upwards, proactively and constructively.
  • Demonstrable experience in RAIDD management, reporting, budget management, project administration (minutes, meeting management etc)
  • Adaptive to changing business needs.
