Post Sales Solutions Consultant
About the role
The post holder will form part of the Post Sales Solution Team and will be responsible for installing solutions for MPS customers, both onsite and remotely, troubleshooting and supporting installations fully thereafter.
Post sales make up our 2nd to 3rd line support teams, therefore exceptional knowledge of Equitrac, Ecopy, PCounter and Papercut is a key technical skill.
The Post Sales Consultant role is customer facing and therefore strong interpersonal skills are also key.

What you will do :
To provide post-sales support, install, maintain and support print and document software solutions
Responsible for assisting with technical design and implementation services, including original design and review of existing designs / statements of work
Identifying the impact of infrastructure / capacity at customers for new business / solutions
Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers
Raising risks and managing technical issues
Keep up to date with latest versions of software solutions by attendance of relevant training courses
Work in conjunction with Solutions Support Desk for 2nd line support escalations
To install, maintain and support equipment, software and networking solutions supplied / as instructed by the Company.
Ensure customer sign off for installations and maintain these records
Deliver Solutions handover / technical training upon successful delivery of solution to customers
Assist and train team members
Technical representation for the company at clients / projects
Drafting, writing and owning technical delivery documents (low level design as an example)
Supporting Solutions Help Desk Team and Pre-Sales Team
Provide client support via phone / remote software on provided solutions where escalated to by Solutions Helpdesk Staff and / or as instructed by the Company.
Provide client support via site visits on provided solutions
Keep up to date and proficient on business solutions portfolio
Your experience will include :

Ensure standard of service provision / support is in accordance with Company expectations
Maintain records and prepare reports for submission as necessary
Promoting good verbal and written dialogue with internal and external customers, communicating delays where identified
Promoting good working practices and procedure
Experience of Sharp, Ricoh, Kyocera, HP and Canon wide-format devices
Experience of Print management / Scanning software solutions, mainly Equitrac, Papercut, PCounter, Ecopy , and others related / similar products is essential.
A good knowledge of remote IT support tools
Exceptional understanding of Microsoft AD (up to Windows server 2012)
Excellent understanding of all Microsoft Office products
Previous experience working within a post sales environment within IT, Software or related industry
Educated to a minimum of A level.
Experience in Managed Print
Desirable Skills :
Excellent customer management skills
