Description of Role :

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, pro-active Ultrasonographer to join our friendly and dedicated imaging team.

We are a busy department, proud to deliver a high quality of care and service to our patients. We work across 2 sites in Dumfries and Stranraer where you would be expected to provide cover.

You will be required to undertake a range of duties including General, Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound examinations.

We will however consider a range of skill sets as we are keen to compliment the service with the 'best' individual. Motivation is key to the role and we are a forward looking team continually investing in practice development, to help meet the needs of the individual and the service.

We are a committed hard working team looking for an individual who will promote a patient focused approach to care. We provide a service to the population of Dumfries and Galloway, covering an extensive range of examinations with the numbers of examinations performed in excess of 22,000 per year.

You will be working in a brand new, state of the art hospital complimented with outstanding scenery and an accessible location.

We have a rolling equipment programme ensuring you have access to up to date equipment to help you obtain high quality ultrasound images, enabling you to achieve a premier level of service provision.
