    JobPurpose

    As an Application Architect, you willbe responsible for solution design and architecture, delivery, providingarchitectural direction to teams and implementing architectural strategy.

    We are ideally looking for anindividual with hands-on development experience that can look at both,functional and non-functional requirements and work closely within our cross-

    functionalteams to design new applications and up-grade legacy systems.

    Candidates that are moving from aSenior Software Engineer position will be highly regarded.

    KeyAccountabilities

  • Help to shapenew client propositions, services and products
  • Work with teamsto design high-quality solutions that are innovative, stable and resilientwhilst also conforming to security and architectural standards
  • Promote regularreview of designs and champion transparency of decision making
  • Manage thelevel of technical debt to support long-term sustainable development
  • Act as arepresentative in dealings with global architecture group
  • Researchemerging technologies / practices and propose improvements and inject new ideasinto design techniques
  • Skills& Experience

  • Significantexperience of application development within a complex enterprise context
  • Experience asan Architect or in a role that requires significant architecture interaction
  • Experience atinfluencing at all levels, from delivery team to Senior Management
  • Stronganalytical and research skills with the ability to collect and analyse complexmaterial and data and present this in accessible formats
  • Excellentcommunication skills with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to giveadvice, mentor and pass on knowledge
