Role overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Facilities and Infrastructure Services Division to lead, manage and ensure NG Bailey Facilities & Infrastructure Services (FIS) gains new customers, penetrates existing and new markets within London and surrounding areas, to grow sales and profitability in line with strategic objectives and business plans.

The successful candidate will have a background in Hard Services, Building Services maintenance or M&E and have extensive experience within the Mechanical, Electrical and Building Fabric Maintenance services industry.

You will :

  • Create, capture, monitor and manage a pipeline of sustainable and real opportunities to meet the strategic requirements of the business going forward through internal and external markets, competitor and customer analysis with a view to understanding client behavior and facilitating appropriate relationship
  • Create and maintain a customer engagement / key account management plans for
  • new customers, including identification of client stakeholders & customer needs, in order to sell propositions that add value to their business and maximize opportunities for NG Bailey FIS

    Implement and manage the bid selection process In line with business process and audit requirements.

    Work with all appropriate stakeholders to ensure that Stage 1 Bid / No Bid scoring is completed and signed off in line with DAM.

    Engage with Bid Directors / Managers and other key stakeholders regarding development / continuation of win themes and client’s key drivers to ensure that the Bid / No Bid stage 2 and Win strategy provide NG Bailey FIS with the greatest chance of success.

    Understand and maintain an in depth knowledge of the NG Bailey Services division, so a fully tailored solution that meets customer needs is proposed at every opportunity and also increases wider services sales.

    You will have :

  • Extensive experience within the Mechanical, Electrical and Building Fabric maintenance services industry.
  • Background in Hard Services, Building Services maintenance or M&E
  • IWFM or similar
  • Established client relationships within the London area with a strong focus toward HARD FM mobile solution opportunity development.
  • Experience within the High end residential marketplace is desirable in order to build upon a strong existing client base utilizing our current products and services.
  • Substantial and broad business experience in business development and / or account management.
  • Highly collaborative leadership style with ability to respond quickly and effectively to ever changing situations
  • Demonstrable experience and ability to coach, mentor & lead a diverse staff mix to deliver best In class service to our customers
