We are looking for an IT Technical Service Delivery Manger to join our expanding team.

It is a hands-on technical and operational leadership role accountable for leading the Service Delivery and technical team.

The role will coordinate, plan, manage and ensure the delivery of quality and measurable end-to-end IT infrastructure, end user computing and operational support.

In the role, you will :

  • Leading the service delivery and small technical team, ensuring the team’s processes and tasks are carried out efficiently and to a high standard of quality
  • Provide service expertise and be the technical escalation point within the Service Delivery team on support and technical matters
  • Mentor and coach staff to maximise individual and team development, growth, competence and succession
  • Oversee the service to customers to ensure effective service delivery and service levels are met for timely response and quality resolution of problems
  • Constantly monitor and document recommendations formally via service delivery plan including SLAs
  • Maintain documentation and work with the IT leadership team on strategies, processes and procedures
  • Have hands on input and lead technical infrastructure projects / tasks
  • Ensure accurate inventory tracking, licensing and asset management
  • Develop, generate and analyse operational and service performance reports and share with the IT leadership team
  • Maintain the 2-way relationships with key business stakeholders and IT leadership

    Candidate Specification

    You will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience :

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You will be ITIL certified with first-hand experience working with and improving process
  • Extensive experience within IT, with a minimum of experience gained in IT Service Delivery Management
  • Strong hands-on technical support experience of Active Directory, Windows client and Server OS, Group Policies, Domain Services (such as Print, DHCP, DNS), SQL Server, Hyper-V, Veeam, cloud services, construction sector software applications and network connectivity LAN / WAN (Cisco / Meraki)
  • Ability to collaborate, establish and maintain a strong professional relationship with team members, department contacts and vendors
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is necessary
  • Strong customer service, project management, and quality control skills
  • In addition, the following skills / experience would be desirable :

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant IT subject matter
