alongside having significant interaction with our external client base, playing a key role in the overall client experience.
We have a Client relationship group dedicated to overseeing the group service performance and strategic partnership for our top tier client base, where we play a key role in supporting our global clients to ensure they have a first class experience when doing business with Citi.
Our Digitization and Implementation group works alongside our Operations teams delivering automation solutions to solve for operational challenges.
We partner with Citi’s innovation labs to drive optimization and overall play a pivotal role in enabling us to transform to achieve our target operating model.
Our Technology groups develop and implement a wide range of applications that support the Operations, Change, Design and Implementation groups in providing innovative products and solutions.

Asset Servicing sits within ICG Markets Operations and is responsible for the management of global mandatory and voluntary Income and Corporate Action events, across equity and fixed income products.
The team’s play a significant role in supporting both internal and external clients throughout the lifecycle of large-scale events, including Dividend season, Corporate restructuring, Shareholder Meetings, Mergers, Acquisitions, and Bankruptcies, providing a unique opportunity to play a real-time, impactful part in market transactions.
The Organisation provides client-orientated support to both the front and middle offices; supporting, Prime Brokerage, Stock lending, Firm Trading Desks, Repo and SWAPS for both Equity and Fixed Income.
The successful candidate will over see the regional team and report directly into the Global Head of Asset Servicing Operations.
The candidate will be responsible for continuing to strengthen the experience within the teams whilst enhancing risk and control frameworks, aligning to company strategy and vision.
The Head will deliver the regional Operations strategy, driving our target operating model, with a proactive People agenda, ensuring a robust control environment, enhancing service capabilities, and simplifying / transforming platforms to build appropriate scale.
The Regional Head will have accountability for daily supervisory risk and service oversight of the Organisation, ensuring that the objectives of Operations, the Business and our clients are executed to a high standard and in full accordance with regulatory and control requirements.
Organizational Oversight :
Overseeing and leading daily core operations maintaining a culture and environment where processes, risks and controls are continually monitored, and potential risks escalated on a timely basis as well as acting as a senior point of escalation
Developing an effective control framework that fully meets Audit, Compliance and Regulatory requirements; delivery of periodic presentations to external regulators as required
Ensuring the infrastructure and tools are in place to effectively manage risk and service our clients to a high standard
Stakeholder Engagement :
Acting as key Asset Servicing contact for the front to back Operations groups across internal and external stakeholders
Continued engagement and face off with a range of senior Business, Technology and Operations partners
Acting as senior Operations lead in New Business Committee meetings, client sales pitches, due diligence visits and other governance forums
Supporting and partnering with the Business to facilitate a growing and expanding client base / operational offering
Engaging in client discussions & relationship management activities as required to support the Business

Driving and supporting the delivery of strategic platform re-engineering initiatives, with conscious intent to standardize and industrial flow, reducing manual touch points and aligning tech delivery vs.

Driving the implementation of initiatives to continuously improve STP rates and productivity, including the use of robotics, workflow and other innovative re-engineering techniques
Active engagement and thought leadership in the development and implementation of multi-year operations strategy for Asset Servicing Operations, in partnership with the Business and Technology stakeholders
Managing budgets and headcount plans in order to meet targets
Qualifications and Skills :
BS / BA degree or equivalent work experience preferred
10 years+ experience in Tier 1 global financial institutions preferred
SME knowledge in Asset Servicing required
