Personnel are working with an Outstanding’ SEN School in Manchester who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support within their school.
The support will be required at their secondary site to work with young people with Autism and challenging
The school have requested that the candidate :
Has school based experience (ideally working within a secondary school)
Experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour
Experience of working with needs such as SEMH and Autism
To work from 8.15am to 4pm Monday to Thursday with an earlier finish on Friday
Is Team Teach trained (desirable)
Someone who is resilient
A background in residential care is also beneficial but not essential
You must be available to trial at the school
