Senior Manager Forensic Data & Analytics

Our client uses state-of-the-art tools and techniques, to support clients in dealing with the complex issues of fraud, regulatory compliance and business disputes.

The teams practice the full lifecycle of data analysis, from the early stages of identification and collection, through to management, analysis, reporting and production.

Our engagements typically require working with large, and often disparate, volumes of electronically stored, structured and unstructured information, and the application of advanced analytics techniques.

The Opportunity

As an Senior Manager, you will be responsible for multiple client engagements. You will build your career by leading projects, managing a team to produce high quality outputs, ensuring that deadlines are met, and client requirements are satisfied.

You will actively establish, maintain and strengthen market relationships with clients through delivery and proactive market activity.

Working within this role involves a varied combination of technical skills, client contact, business development, team building, and project management.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Managing multi-disciplinary teams, client and 3rd party professionals on client engagements, providing leadership, and shaping delivery approaches.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert in advising clients to gain greater insight into their data and the value that data analytics can bring to an organisation.
  • Taking a significant role in the growth of the team and wider practice, sharing knowledge and supporting the development of other team members.
  • Requirements

  • Strong academic qualifications with a degree in the field of computer forensics, business or law
  • Excellent understanding of the litigation timetable in English law together with detailed knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules Part 31 and respective Practice Directions
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience of working with common eDiscovery and forensic software products
  • Expertise in collecting, processing and analysing large volumes of unstructured and structured data
  • Solution-oriented and proactive approach to the delivery and implementation of projects as well as the ability to build strong relationships with your teams and clients
  • Exposure to SQL programming and design of relational databases considered as a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and any additional language is considered as a plus
  • Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable and able to build strong relationships

  • Law firm experience or demonstrable experience working with lawyers
  • Intellectually rigorous, with extremely strong analytical skills and a passion for data
