Aspiring Educational Psychologist, Youth Justice Officer or Drama Therapist?

Teaching Assistants - Pupil Referral Unit - Primary Phase

Psychology / Criminology / Drama Graduates

Are you looking for an opportunity to work as a Special Needs support assistant working with children who have faced trauma, are vulnerable, and experiencing Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues?

Are you confident in managing behaviours and outbursts?

You would be working in a School where students have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and many will have had cautions.

There will be a real diverse, blend of cultures and wellness within this role.

In this role you will be working with young learners from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4 and could be dealing with outbursts - being lashed out at and challenged verbally?

This is the reality that will face you and the emotional pull will be very hard hitting.

  • Working with young learners who have been through trauma
  • Liaising with Clinical / Forensic / Education Psychologists on site
  • The school offers outstanding facilities and a strong, supportive team
