We are looking for a motivated and friendly individual with a strong passion for animal care and welfare to join us as a Registered Veterinary Nurse at our New Cross practice.
Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas.
The ideal candidate should enjoy working as part of a team and possess the confidence to work alone when required. You should have a flexible and adaptable approach to work and should be happy to get stuck in wherever needed.
This role covers 40 hours a week and is part of a 1 : 4 weekend rota.

Skills and Experience
You must be a Veterinary Nurse who is registered with the RCVS.
Medivet New Cross is located in a very well-connected part of South East London. It has been refurbished and kitted out to a very high standard that matches the clinical standards that the team work to.
A busy and thriving clinic with a very interesting and varied caseload, you will have use of ultrasound, echocardiology, digital radiography, laser therapy, separate cat and dog wards, two operating theatres, dental radiography, tonometry and access to CT facilities very close by.
The 4-vet team is supported by a strong nursing team. One of the colleagues is studying for a diagnostic imaging certificate, so cases are thoroughly worked up and include echocardiograms.
This practice is based in in the Beckenham region and is supported by Medivet 24 Hour Beckenham. The practice is located just off the A20 and walking distance to New Cross Gate and New Cross station.
There are also a few bus stops outside the practice making it easy to commute. There are a few shops, restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets and much more down the road from the practice.
