Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a progressive and respected firm in Kendal who are now looking to add an ambitious Accounts Semi Senior to their team.

The successful candidate will undertake a varied general practice role and will be responsible for preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships as well as the preparation of the associated tax compliance.

You will also be involved in the completion of bookkeeping work for clients as well as the preparation of VAT returns.

The ideal candidate will have had a grounding in general practice work and may be AAT part or fully qualified or may have already begun studying towards the ACCA or ACA qualification.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Preparation of draft accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations

Bookkeeping work for clients

Preparation of periodic VAT returns

Liaising with clients to resolve queries where necessary

Skills :

AAT Part Qualified / Qualified or ACCA / ACA Students

Practice experience is essential
