A Primary School we work closely with in Leeds (LS11) are currently seeking to employ a Social, Emotional Mental Health Support Assistant to start from November 2020 on a full time basis for the foreseeable future.

You will be working with primary aged pupils from EYFS - Year 6. Your day will be varied, supporting children in the classroom and assisting with integrating them back into a school routine after the lockdown period.
This is a full-time role from 8 : 30am - 3 : 30pm.
You will be supporting pupils who are struggling with the school routine and who may also have additional needs such as; Social, Emotional Mental Health Issues, Autism, ADHD and Behavioural needs.
You will be required to work with pupils on a one to one basis as well as with small groups of students. You will be required to support these pupils both in and out of the classroom and assist them with their needs as well as their academic school work.
