We have recently completed our £35m Series B funding round, led by Left Lane Capital with L Catterton, and existing investor Draper Esprit.
Complimented by our 2020 crowdfunding round, this brings our total funding to £74m so far and we’re just getting started.
We have also successfully launched various new revenue streams over the past few months, including our premium Plus’ membership and self invested personal pensions.
We are on track to double in size from 120 people to 200+ by the end of the year. Our customer numbers are 600,000 and counting, and we are receiving upwards of 4,000 new customer sign ups per day as of March 2021.
We’re looking for an experienced Program Manager to join our Business Operations team. You'll be one of the first hires into this growing team, and take ownership of a range of strategic initiatives.
You’ll lead complex projects from conception through to implementation, helping drive efficiencies and enabling us to meet our ambitious objectives.
You will :
Work cross-functionally across the business to progress key work streams, providing project leadership and removing blockers
Work alongside our Business Operations Lead to deliver the company’s big bets, this could be European expansion, or Crypto trading.
Investigate, scope and build business cases for technical and operational process improvements
Lead new product launches, coordinating across operations, product, marketing, data, compliance and finance teams to ensure optimal delivery for both the business and our customers
Work closely with the product team to support the prioritisation of competing needs across the business, using data to drive your decisions
Track and monitor project success, conducting retrospectives from an operations perspective
Negotiate with and manage relationships with third party providers
Develop strategy documents to be shared with the senior leadership team
Build strong relationships across the different teams in the business, becoming a trusted operational partner
Be a key contributor to the Operations function at Freetrade, helping us to grow the function, develop new and better ways of working, and ensure we’re always thinking about what’s next for Freetrade.
About you :
You’ll be an organised, strategic thinker who thrives working across teams to implement complex initiatives
You have 3+ years experience in one of the following areas :
Fast growing customer-centric tech company (fintech is a plus!)
You’re adept at working across all levels of a business, collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
You’re always thinking of the big picture, whilst possessing an understanding of all the detail that sits beneath it
You apply a commercial lens to your thinking,
You have a passion for technology, and a solid understanding of how it can drive better business or customer outcomes
You’re comfortable with ambiguity, and stay calm in a fast moving environment
You’re an excellent verbal and written communicator, who is happy presenting to senior business leaders
You’re team-oriented, keen to share your knowledge and open to giving (and receiving) continuous feedback
You’re people person and enjoy facilitating connections between different teams to solve problems
You’re eager to learn new skills and are constantly looking for new ways to expand your professional knowledge
You care about impact, love a challenge, and take ownership of your work
