Why this role matters
Exciting times - our HR team is leading and supporting colleagues through incredible change across multiple programmes. The Change and Engagement Manager plays a key role in helping us to maintain a brilliant employee experience through one of those, The Better Workplace Programme.
The Programme will create brilliant workplaces for our desk based colleagues across the country that they can be proud of.
The programme will run over 3-5 years and pave the way for cultural change and enable new ways of working. The programme is fuelled by our ambition to do the best for our colleagues - so we can play our part in making BT a brilliant place to work.
It’s challenging, at times exhausting, but it’s also hugely rewarding and fun. And there’s a terrific team forming to deliver this together.
The Better Workplace Programme is focused on creating brilliant new workplaces and co-locating colleagues with purpose, enabling BT to work smarter and more effectively in fewer better workplaces.
This means big change for many of our colleagues; some changes will be welcomed and others will require colleagues to make choices about their career that they find harder we have a role to play in helping all of them.
Whatever their change journey is, all affected employees should be able to say :
I know why we’re doing it, I know what’s happening and how it affects me
I’m well informed : the messages I receive are consistent and I know who to talk to when I have questions
I feel respected, involved and supported
