12 month fixed term contract, London (Victoria) or Cambridgeshire (Melbourn)

The Talent team at PA Consulting is responsible for ensuring that the business has the human resource it needs to deliver world leading consulting services to wide range of client groups and industry sectors.

Working across four global offices (UK, US, Nordics), the Talent team is a group of specialists who service as subject matter experts to the business on all matter pertaining to talent acquisition, employer branding, candidate experience and employment legislation.

As part of PA’s ongoing commitment to maintain a robust internal talent / recruitment function, PA have recently purchased the market leading applicant tracking system (ATS) and are in the process of integrating this tool into the business.

Job Requirements

To ensure PA maximise the return on this new investment a new position has been created in the Talent function with the express purpose of training someone to become an expert on this new ATS tool.

  • The ideal candidate would be someone who has a recruitment background, but is naturally drawn to understand talent acquisition as a process;
  • who enjoys software and ultimately has a systems-driven thought process.

    You won’t be the person who led the business development sales calls league tables, but you may have been the person people came to when they wanted to understand how to do something in the system.

  • Perhaps you could always pull the reports people needed, or was always the person who trained new hires on how to use the system;
  • either way your natural skill set is more process and data-orientated.

    This is your chance to have a role where you will own this process. You will be trained to be an expert on PA’s new ATS and will have direct influence on shaping how the system is used and maintained.

    You will help senior managers get the crucial data they need to make key decisions, liaise with the software vendor to help incorporate new features and roll out training to the Talent team In short, you will be PA’s internal expert on this tool.

    With the option of being based either in our technology centre in Cambridge or our head office in London, this a great opportunity to combine your recruitment and systems experience in a fast paced and highly dynamic environment.
