An exciting opportunity full of challenge and reward for a native or fluent Italian speaker with experience and knowledge from a Lloyds Coverholder or Lloyds broking background.

You will be joining an established and very successful Lloyds Coverholder who specialise in Italian risks.

Role Context :

Provide insurance intermediaries (brokers, agents) with quotations, indications or details of terms and conditions, support.

  • Produce new business and develop relationships.
  • Answer queries on the phone and by email.
  • Visit clients abroad on a regular basis.
  • Where applicable ensure that company, market and client related documentation is issued (internally and externally) accurately and on time.
  • Prepare and check proposal forms and full policy schedules, wordings and endorsements.
  • Liaise with accounts department regarding payment of premium.
  • Review documentation and carry out one-off projects.
  • Report any internal and external issues that affect the organisation to the Line Manager in a timely manner.
  • Provide back-up broking as required.
  • Requirements :

    1 years experience and knowledge of the Italian insurance market and of the following classes of risk : Professional Indemnity, Healthcare Liability, Directors & Officers, Public Officials, Property.

  • Previous experience working for a Lloyd's Coverholder and / or Lloyd's Broker.
  • Knowledge with the systems, documentation and procedures of the Lloyd's, London Insurance and Reinsurance Markets.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory framework governing insurance and of the FCA rules and guidelines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Italian (German, Spanish, and French are a plus)
  • Excellent communication, organisation and negotiation skills.
