As a Software Engineer, you will be playing anessential role in supporting the design and operation of systems on theplatform and engaging in a wide range of simulations, programming, testing andsecurity.
You will be capturing requirements, developingsoftware and resolving any issues that arise whilst developing documentation inan understandable, unambiguous and concise manner.
This role will provide you with the opportunityto work within a skilled team in an exciting and developing business area.
Your main responsibilities as a SoftwareEngineer will involve :
Delivering high quality work packages
Working within budgetary and time constraints
Challenging and driving improvements
Supporting the team and project leaders indaily activities
Your skills and qualifications :
HND or Degree in STEM Subjects
Familiarity with requirement capture and traceabilitytools / techniques
Experiencein at least one High Level Programming language, e.g. C, C++, Java, Ada etc
Knowledgeof Software Development environments e.g. GPS (GNAT), Artisan Real Time Studio / PTC modeller, Simulink, SCADE, Visual Studio, Statemate, HOOD etc.
Experienceor knowledge of software engineering process, e.g. UML, Rational UnifiedProcess, Model Based Systems / Software Engineering, DO-
178C and DEF STAN 00-55etc.
Workingknowledge of Microsoft Office packages
