for a talented Senior Product Manager who expects more from their career. It’s an opportunity to work with a market-leading business to develop and deploy one of our great Products in the Grocery Retail market.

dunnhumby's Data Capabilities is seeking a Senior Product Manager who will establish and grow Data Products and a team of talented and passionate product managers.

This individual builds strong relationships across all levels of the organisation, with a bias towards proactive action in engaging teams towards solving problems.

As a Senior Product Manager you will own the product roadmap and vision that includes collaboration with data developers, data engineers, product marketing, and data consultants.

You will track market drivers, monitor operational and finance success of the products under your purview, and offer support where needed in new business engagements.

What you’ll do

  • Define the vision, tenents, principles, and high-level priorities for Data-orientied Products through SAFe practices.
  • Liaise and collaborate with Propositions and Product Managers across the organisation to strengthen the cohesion and enablement of your products.
  • Establish strong relationships with the engineering and development teams crucial to the success of the CD pipelines.
  • Ensure products / solutions are purpose-built to address core business initiatives and needs, actively bringing ideas and actions that align to the business case
  • Be able to clearly articulate vision, important metrics, opportunities and challenges, and show how their team's work prioritization aligns with those goals and that of the broader data capability team
  • Be responsible for the adoption and usage of new features and capabilities for intended end users (internally and externally)
  • Work with and manage relationships with external partners; a keen understanding of how to leverage and excel partnership opportunities
  • What we expect from you

  • Experience in either data product management or adjacent work within data and analytics
  • Experience leading and mentoring a team of high-performing Product Managers
  • Experience of working with technical / data products
  • Knowledge of Retail Industry and Products and experience across the product lifecycle
  • Knowledge and experience working with cloud technologies, specifically data and analytics tools and capabilities
  • Developing leadership skills and ability to build and develop successful product teams
  • A strong sense of the competitive marketplace with a proven track record of successfully delivering data products or solutions
  • Foundational commercial acumen with strong ability to articulate a business case to senior executives and peers
  • Experience in using qualitative and quantitative analysis to approach problems
  • Strong communicator who can work with commercial and technical teams
  • An Agile Product Owner certification is desirable (SAFe experience is ideal)
  • Cloud vendor certifications a plus (Azure certifications are highly desired)
