A school we work closely with at Teaching Personnel are looking for a fully qualified teacher for a Year 5 / 6 class to start as soon as possible to fill a long-
term absence position which may lead to a permanent contract. As this Primary School are part of an Academy trust this position may involve working with a number of different schools within the Leeds area schools, therefore candidates need to be flexible with availability and have access to a vehicle.
This school, rated as Outstanding’ by Ofsted, lies within the heart of LS11. This particular school are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who can help raise pupil attainment in all core subjects across the KS2 curriculum in a year 5 / 6 class.
The school are looking for a new teacher who has over recent experience in KS2 SATs and who is interested in running new initiatives to help pupils progress to their maximum potential.
This may involve delivering Interventions such as; SATs Boosters, Literacy, Numeracy and Behaviour.
Teaching Personnel works closely with Leeds Trinity University which provides our candidates with the knowledge and skills they need to develop both personally and professionally as a teacher.
Opportunities and key skills courses run all year round for candidates to name a few; Literacy and Mathematical Development across the Curriculum, Planning and questioning for progression, Early Reading and Phonics and Effective Behaviour management!
