Existing team of 30technical staff. Small, co-located Agile teams of 7-8 people each includingEngineers, Scrum Masters, Quality Engineers plus Product Owners.
We operate ina Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework environment (SAFe).
Most team membersarrive in the office between 8.30-10am, when we hold our stand-ups. We usetools such as Slack, Confluence, JIRA, and BitBucket to collaborate.

We are looking for aQuality Engineer who is hands on with code, can write Cucumber features &steps, who not only just report defects but also look into application logs tosee what went wrong and review code via Pull Requests.
Works with engineersto drive improvements in code quality via automated testing
Delivers oncapabilities for the portfolio automation strategy
Involved in thereview of the user story backlog and requirements specifications forcompleteness and weaknesses in function, performance, reliability, scalability,testability, usability, and security and compliance testing, and providesrecommendations
Plans and definestesting approach, providing advice on prioritization of testing activity insupport of identified risks in project schedules or test scenarios
Develops test plans,testing resource requirements, and overall scheduling of testing activity
Drives thedevelopment automation and testing is a CD / CI environment
Develops manual andautomated test cases and configurations needed to meet testing of businessrequirements
Executes testcases / scripts to ensure delivery of quality software applications, includingSystems Integration, Regression, and Performance Testing
Generates test datato support the requirements and test case for various test phases
Builds and maintainsCI / CD Automation process and execution
Responsible formanaging the definition, implementation, and integration of quality principlesinto the design and development of software and IT processes for the team
Monitors and tracksresolution of defects
Designs, monitors,and analyzes quality assurance metrics such as defect, defect counts, testresults, and test status
Recognizesopportunities to adopt creative testing technologies and techniques

advanced degree preferred
Experience inTechnology, with an emphasis on QA for Java based server side applications, andconfirmed ability in writing test cases, running functional, automated, orperformance tests (JMeter), and managing defects.
Proven experience intest-driven development, unit testing, functional testing, system integrationtesting, regression testing, GUI testing (Selenium), web service (Postman)testing, and browser compatibility testing
