Veblen International have an exciting opportunity for an UK Account Manager based in the East Midlands. Our client is a leading manufacturer of high quality beauty brand and personal care products, distributing their creations to international brands and high street retailers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Assessing new customer briefs and preparing New Project Approval Forms for sign off

Managing all product development, sales and commercial elements of customer relationships

Ensuring that stock is produced in time to meet forecast or sales order

Understanding the customer processes and requirements of a vendor, including supplier KPI’s

Liaising with the customer to identify new product opportunities

Managing the key account interface with customer teams to include buyers, technical & product managers and supply teams

Full profit and loss management for each key account

Price negotiations with customers

Tracking the budget against the forecast

Producing sales budget to include sales / margin and NPD costs

Candidate requirements :

Some previous Account Management experience with NPD exposure

Experience managing retail accounts, ideally within the beauty and FMCG industries

Confident building strong successful relationships with key retail / brand accounts

Evidence of producing sales growth within key retail / brand accounts

Passionate about the health and beauty market

Self-starter with an enthusiastic approach

Excellent communication skills
