The purpose of the role is to ensure that the Periodic Review function reviews customers across the business divisions efficiently and in accordance with the relevant Group policies and procedures.

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for ensuring Periodic Reviews are completed to internal procedural requirements and regulatory standards within the review cycle.
  • Support Head of Onboarding & Periodic Review to achieve team objectives, including ad hoc projects.
  • Responsible for approving Low and Medium risk-rated clients in the periodic review and onboarding space.
  • Manage the allocation of Periodic Review cases to KYC Analysts and monitor case progression.
  • Ensure Trigger Reviews are documented, assigned, and completed in an efficient manner.
  • Conduct 121s with each KYC Analyst / QC Analyst for development purposes, providing support and guidance where identified.
  • Develop and produce MI for senior management to reflect progress of periodic review cases.
  • Pro-actively recommend and implement procedural and / or process enhancements to achieve greater efficiency within the team.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders e.g. Compliance, Desk Heads, Account Executives.
  • Report or highlight concerns or issues that potentially impact achievement of team objectives to Head of Onboarding & Periodic Review in a timely manner, proposing solutions to resolve identified problem.
  • Includes shared responsibility for bank holiday batch and production cover

    Skills & Requirements :

  • Direct line management experience of 3 years+
  • Managed teams through transitions
  • KYC experience of 5 years+
  • Work collaboratively in high pressure environment
  • Be comfortable raising issues and concerns, whilst working to identify and implement solutions
  • Client relationship management experience
  • Product and business knowledge
  • Problem escalation experience
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisation, delegation, and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to engage and communicate with key internal stakeholders
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks
  • ACAMS / ICA, preffered
