You have the opportunity to join the Knightsbridge lettings team of Savills as a lettings negotiator. Working together with our Prime Central London residential offices you will be interacting with some of the most impressive properties, interesting clients and experienced colleagues in the country.

As the lettings negotiator you will be responsible for liaising and negotiating directly with our clients as well as managing the process for the applicants and tenants and helping them with their ongoing requirements.

Often there will be time pressures and short notice requests our Lettings Negotiator should thrive under this pressure.

The principal aim of the role is : organising and conducting viewings, negotiating offers and successfully arranging new tenancies.

This is a position which has a proven track record of significant success so a very exciting role but as a candidate you will need to demonstrate a strong track record of hitting targets.

  • You will be expected to take the lead on ensuring all required paperwork and checks that are carried out for each tenancy, with the support of your team;
  • complying with all Savills processes, ARLA guidance and statutory legislation.

    To achieve these objectives the successful candidate will be required :

  • Deal with all incoming calls as appropriate
  • Applicant care in line with company procedures
  • Efficiently deal with Landlord and Tenant enquiries
  • Registering applicants on the phone and walk ins
  • Meet and greet all people entering the office as appropriate
  • Organising viewings
  • Arranging and carrying out viewings as required and establishing rapport with applicants
  • Feedback to LL’s, Tenants and Applicants following viewings
  • Updating Reapit with feedback regularly
  • Matching of applicants and twice weekly applicant call out
  • Relocation Agents send new property details on new instruction
  • Maintain database of relocation agents in the area
  • Negotiating the terms of tenancies with landlords and tenants and managing the paperwork
  • Negotiating renewals when applicable for properties
  • Booking in pitches taking all necessary information
  • Ensure the team is aware of any terminations and the relevant action is in place
  • Assistant Client liaison coordinator with preparing new properties for marketing
  • Liaising with photographers regarding appointment
  • Arrange photography with Landlord, Tenant, photographer
  • Send brochure to Landlord for confirmation of agreement to live advertising
  • Carrying out pitches and valuation reports alongside Head of Lettings
  • Working closely alongside Head of Lettings to manage team call outs and market strategy
  • Skills, Knowledge and Experience

    The candidate will be a highly accomplished letting negotiator, with a track record of achieving targets. The candidate needs to be comfortable working across multiple branches, fitting into different teams as required.

    Adaptability and a willingness to learn will be vital skills.

    We need someone that is energetic and hard-working, a self-starter who brings enthusiasm to their work. Good IT and organisational skills are necessary.
