Band 4 Assistant Practitioners / Nursing Associate / Operating Department Assistant Practitioners are encouraged to come and join Interventional Radiology in one of the UK’s largest NHS Hospitals based at Southmead, North Bristol NHS Trust.
This role involves working within a highly skilled team of Interventional Radiology Nurses, Radiographers and Radiologists.
You, the successful candidate will, once trained, be a key part of the IR lab team, where you will assist directly with complex interventional procedures, provide an excellent standard of care to our exceptionally varied patient group, and once competent participate in out of hours emergency cover on the on-call rota.
Experience in Interventional Radiology would be a distinct advantage, however if you have been working in an acute, theatre or cath lab setting, we would love to hear from you, as training will be provided in the workplace.
Interventional Radiology is a key aspect of the vascular, major trauma, and stroke thrombectomy service for the South West based here in the state of the art Brunel Building at Southmead Hospital.
The Brunel Building opened in 2014 and provides excellent facilities for patients and staff alike.
