We are recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a charity hospital in Derby on a full-time basis working 37.5 hours per week.
This is a purpose-built animal hospital offering state of the art facilities along with a wide range of varying cases enabling plenty of exposure to develop your clinical skill set and knowledge.
The Vet will need to have excellent client facing and interpersonal skills and demonstrate and excellent amount of experience in customer service along with being able to work well as part of a team.
The Vet would be joining a team of 7 other Vets, 8 Nurses and a large nonclinical support team. The role offers the Vet a wide variety of cases with great opportunities to develop their medical and surgical skills.
The working shifts are 7.5 hours per day with the hours between 8.30am and 6pm.

Veterinary Surgeon's typically work incremental shifts from 8am-4.30pm to 10am-6.30pm and vet nurses from 8am-4.30pm to 9.30am to 6pm.
No OOH, as this is fully outsourced - Vets Now do night cover on site.
The caseload is varied and would make a great opportunity for someone completing a certificate or looking to further develop their skills.

Clinical staff typically work 1 in 6 Saturday mornings from 9-12 and receive time off in lieu the following week
