Diagnostic Vehicle Technician job in Colchester, Essex

Salary : £30,000 basic salary (negotiable) + Bonus

Term : Full Time, Permanent

Hours : 8.15am - 5.15pm, Monday to Friday, 8.15am -12.15pm, Alternate Saturdays

Our client is looking for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician who to join their established team. They are looking for an experienced and qualified technician to carry out electric and mechanical repairs to a high standard, setting a good example for the team.

Typical duties of Diagnostic Vehicle Technician include :

Carrying out electric and mechanical repairs to manufacturer and company standards

Working with the team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and timely

Handling a wide range of repairs from basic servicing to engine overhauls

Requirements for the role of Diagnostic Technician include :

NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or time served / equivalent qualification)

Strong experience of diagnostic fault finding and repairs

Whilst not essential, accreditation to carry out MOT Testing would be beneficial
