About the role :
Reporting to the Head of Customer Experience Strategy, as Infrastructure and Facilities Manager you will manage a small team to deliver a pro-
active and customer focused asset management strategy, whilst minimising risks to the operational railway.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory legislation, creating a regime of plan preventative maintenance as well as implementing best practice and professional principles.
The role will be central to establishing and maintaining relationships with TfL, our FM contractors, Network Rail and within Arriva Rail London.
Your key accountabilities will include ensuring that our FM department develops operational strategies, policies and procedures in line with the operational requirements to ensure well managed and well maintained stations.
You’ll oversee vendor performances to assure full compliance with standards established within the service agreement and liaise with other departments to resolve any FM operational issues.
The post holder will be required to carry out regular, documented performance reviews of the FM service that the team provides to the wider business and to our client.
About you :
Our ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or have equivalent relevant experience gained in a Senior Infrastructure Specialist role.
You’ll need to be able to demonstrate commercial and financial awareness and have excellent communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge of UK rail industry is essential as is knowledge of relevant legislation, industry and safety standards. If you are a member of relevant professional body, so much the better.
