Job Role

Looking for a Specialist Teaching Assistant to support a student 1 : 1 with ADHD and suspected ASC full time to start as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well established Primary School in the Swadlincote, that prides themselves in meeting the needs of every individual.

Although challenging, for the right candidate this role will be highly rewarding and it will provide great career development opportunities.

The Role :

  • Working 1 : 1 with a Year 3 child with ADHD suspected and ASC
  • Assisting with learning keeping them on task
  • Managing challenging behaviour
  • Hours 08 : 30 - 15 : 30 Monday to Friday
  • Requirements

  • Previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience is essential
  • A knowledge of Autism and ADHD
  • Be able to travel or live in Swadlincote
  • Resilient and enthusiastic personality
  • Right to work in the UK
  • A child workforce DBS on the Update Service
