Due to continued investment, this manufacturing business at the cutting edge of technology is searching for the perfect Engineering Data Administrator to join their growing team in Portsmouth on an initial 12-month contract.

This role pays £18.75 per hour.

The successful candidate will be awarded with this phenomenal opportunity to work with a true leader on some of the biggest challenges and most advanced technologies in the industry.

The Role

Within the Engineering Data Administrator role, you'll be responsible for :

  • To support the engineering data management team in delivering data management services to Maritime Systems engineering community.
  • Undertake the creation, updating and modification of engineering master data, including, but not limited to materials, services and equipment's on behalf of relevant projects.
  • Undertake master data validation activities to ensure the created master data is valid at the time of creation and meeting relevant standards.
  • To succeed within the Engineering Data Administrator role, you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills :

  • Good data analytical skills
  • Intermediate Excel experience
  • IT literate
  • Knowledge of data and the attributes of quality information
  • Understanding of concepts and principles relating to Engineering and Logistics data requirements
  • The knowledge and experience in the use of SAP is desirable.
