We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join the team on a fixed term basis to be the Pilgrims Lead on the Delivery of the Point74 Implementation.
Point74 is a food life cycle management software system and the successful candidate will be working with the supplier, steering committee and wider project team as well as the facilities where the system and processes are being implemented.
Reporting to the IT Director and MD of the Dalehead division of Pilgrims, your business partnering skills and experience will be paramount as you act as an ambassador for the IT function, working closely with the business to ensure that initiatives are prioritised, resources are utilised effectively, and solutions are delivered to an agreed level of availability and quality.
You will be responsible for coordinating the project team to keep them on track and the project on budget as well as working with the site teams to ensure sites are adequately resourced, project milestones are achieved and processes and systems are effectively embedded.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a Project Management role, ideally within a process manufacturing organisation.
You will be able to demonstrable knowledge and practical experience of managing and leading people as well as a good understanding and experience of how to drive a positive culture.
You will be able to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within the organisation as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience of SAP would be extremely beneficial but previous experience using an ERP system is essential. ITIL (or equivalent IT service management) certification is desirable and PRINCE2 (or alternative Project Management methodologies) is essential.
Travel between the different sites will be required therefore candidates will require a full UK Driving License.
