Key Responsibilities :

Working as a field-based Vehicle Technician you will carry out specialist vehicle repair work at customer premises, supporting our partner’s dealer network with providing specialist vehicle repairs.

  • Undertake specific vehicle work repair procedures
  • Engage with customers directly
  • Produce condition reporting as required
  • Liaise with the office support function and department managers to maximise own and team productivity
  • This role is not like working in a garage, you will be out meeting customers at their home or business location, providing first class customer service as part of a special manufacturer project.

  • Skills, Knowledge and qualifications

    What are we looking for in you?

  • Relevant motor trade industry experience
  • Sound mechanical knowledge of all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Strong communications skills and comfortable working in customer-facing role
  • Capable of working alone with limited supervision
  • Minimum of a City & Guilds Qualifications (or equivalent) in Mechanical engineering / Light Vehicle Maintenance
  • Membership of IMI or equivalent body would be an advantage but not essential
  • Full Driving Licence
