Here at Brightwater we are delighted to be assisting our client, an educational body within the public sector, with the recruitment of a Health and Safety Manager (COVID-19) in Belfast .
This is a fixed-term contract role to the end of March 2021 and is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety professional to lead and manage the delivery of the organisation’s safe return of staff to work in multiple sites.
Responsibility for carrying out a range of projects and activities relating to the safe return of organisation staff to Belfast offices
Designing and developing plans which will lay out a step-by-step process for the safe return to work of organisation staff Project Management of these plans
Sharing vital information with relevant parties updating them on progress made in ongoing projects
Drafting and implementing compliance policies
Management of a small team across multiple sites
Providing expert advice on COVID-19 policies and procedures
Relevant professional qualification in Health & Safety NEBOSH, etc.
Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies and experience of leading the delivery of projects to time, cost and quality
Excellent communication skills, experience of working closely with stakeholders
Strong IT skills and experience of varied software / systems
Good understanding of risk assessment and the impact of COVID-19 on safe working practices
