Our Team :
TheDigital Capabilities function owns Technology platforms within Consumer Product& Services. The platforms areenabling, orchestrating and exposing Markets and Group capabilities to thirdparties and Vodafone services.
The platformsare handling more than 1000 Transaction per second, 150 third parties in morethan 20 markets are generating more than 600m€ revenue p.a.
TheDigital Capabilities platforms are : common Digital Exposure Layer (DXL), APIexposure layer (APIX), Global Integration Gateway (GIG), LIA, AAA and therelated Continuous Integration Systems, the vast majority is running in thecloud in an agnostic manner following the API-
first principle and are usingrecent technologies as e.g. micro services, containers and service mesh.
Thepurpose of this role is to define and govern the overall architecture strategyand roadmap for aspects of Digital Capabilities’ platforms.
The architecturewill be developed to provide solutions to meet the market and global businessrequirements, whilst ensuring compliance with the Target Global Architectureand Architectural Standards and Design Principles.
TheDigital Capabilities team is delivering with Vodafone people in Europe (Düsseldorf,Paddington) and India (Pune).
The Senior Architect will act as a lead functionaland technical representative for the Digital Capability area, gatheringinformation and proposing solutions, therefore, strong analytical, functional,technical and communication skills are imperative for this role.
Therole will also involve the governance of the evolution of the platforms,ensuring the compliance of the solutions to the Globally mandated solution setas well as defining the migration paths to that set.
The Architect contributes to the Digital Capabilitiesstrategy and will own governance when working with other Architects andTechnical stakeholders.

Enable solutionopportunities by identifying the requirements directly from the Vodafone LocalMarkets / Partner Markets or by proactively understanding their needs.
Able to express complexconcepts in plain language to reach broader audiences.
Adheres to technicalconstraints laid out by Architecture guidelines
Delivery of products -lead the design and delivery of respective portfolio as aligned with GroupCommercial and local markets
Product and service development Build new productsand new features to existing ones, based on existing capabilities, vendors ordeveloping new ones.

Related qualification and proven experience in mobile technology,digital products, or IT
We’re happy if you :
Excellent Knowledge of enterprise solutions and architectures (i.e.cloud, big data, virtualization, storage, etc.)
Proven experience of conducting technical workshop, presenting technicalsolutions, preparing how-to guides, and technical comparison documents.
