JOB SUMMARY

Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide administrative and planning support in our electrical contracting business to ensure efficient operation of office

They will be required to answer phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors

Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning and complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results

It is essential that the candidate is able to exhibit polite and professional communication via phone, email, and mail

They will support the team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication and develop administrative staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities

From time to time they will ensure effective operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements calling for repairs maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques

Candidates will be required to provide information by answering questions and requests to customers and clients, maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level anticipating needed supplies placing and expediting orders for supplies.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

SKILLS NEEDED

Applicants must have reporting skills being able to pass job data back to our clients

Basic Administrative Writing Skills

They must have confident Microsoft Office skills

Be able to manage processes and procedures

Good organisational and information handling skills with a keen eye for detail

It is essential for candidates to have professionalism both oral and written whilst problem solving with daily workloads and tasks.

Driving Licence Advantageous.

WORKING HOURS

Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm

HOURLY RATE

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT

Candidates will learn key skills in planning, workload management and scheduling

Our staff will develop skills already held through coaching and problem solving

Training will be given in all aspects of the role including data management

Microsoft Office skills

Client and customer relationship building

We will identify strengths and weaknesses in skills and develop them to gain experience to add to their skillset

There will be daily and weekly reviews on the progress and we will ensure that consistent mentoring and support is always available

We will assist in identifying transferrable skills and record it on an up to date CV
