Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Resource lead to join a global, award winning Integrated agency.

Due to growth this is a newly created role where you will have a real opportunity to make the role your own and be key in dealing with senior stake holders and managing a small team.

They work with an array of clients from FMCG, beauty, charity, healthcare, sports, automotive and tech to name a few.

You will set up the resource function across an area of the business that hasn’t been formally resourced before so you will need to set up new process and educate the teams on this new process moving forward.

  • Flexible mix of central London office working and remote*
  • The role :

  • Lead weekly resource meetings with senior client leads
  • Work closely with the internal recruitment team to ensure optimal resourcing on client delivery needs
  • Ensure there is a pool of outstanding freelance talent ready for spikes in workload
  • Predominantly resource across project management, account management and strategy
  • Know the skill sets of the team to successfully deliver on client briefs and establish their capacity to take on new briefs in the next 3-6 months
  • Work with senior business leads to ensure team structures and staffing are balanced
  • Ensure projects are mapped and billable utilisation is factored into day to day management of work flow.
  • Ensure scope and revenue are being recognised
  • Constantly review all timing plans and budgets in line with booked resource and make sure they correlate
  • Keep on top of margins, employee utilisation & employee billability
  • Find solutions to any ongoing agency challenges
  • The person :

  • See real value in the resource function
  • Ideally have set up a resource process and implemented systems and tools from scratch
  • Ideally experience working in a resource role in a large agency or business
  • A real people person with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Project management background helpful
  • Experience resourcing purely across design or creative probably not the right fit
  • Ambitious and driven to take on a more senior role in time
  • Agile and adaptive way of working
  • Solid financial control and acumen
  • Deadline and results driven
  • Open minded and adaptive to change
