Location : Leceister UK

Division : Bioproduction (BPD)

Bioproduction provides our biotechnology and biopharmaceutical customers with integrated solutions across the entire bioproduction workflow.

This position will reside in the sales operations department and will manage commercial projects involving Bioprocess Equipment and Automation within the EMEA region.

How will you make an impact?

Seeking a talented Project Manager who will be the primary customer interface managing overall schedules and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, within scope, and according to customer expectations.

What will you do?

  • Create project schedules / Gantt charts and define project milestones for standard and customized equipment and automation integration projects in life sciences industry.
  • Lead design reviews with client, engineering, and suppliers.
  • Manage change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify, manage, and mititgate project risks and issues.
  • Schedule, facilitate, and report on periodic project meetings with clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party suppliers to meet project milestones and deliverables.
  • Manage multiple, fast track projects simultaneously.
  • Coordinate material shipments including international import / exports, with customers, suppliers, and logistics.
  • Manage project schedule and activities from purchase order through start-up including Hardware Acceptance Testing (HAT), Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and Installation and Operational Qualification (IOQ) as applicable.
  • How will you get here?


    BSc degree in Technical, Science, or Engineering related field


  • 3-5 years of Project Management experience leading projects of varied scale and complexity.
  • Management of third-party vendors and fabrication shops.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent desirable.
  • Ability to be a leader and make decisions with authority.
  • Ability to prioritize activities and follow through to completion.
  • Requires excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (eg SalesForce).
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (eg SAP Oracle).
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) programs (eg Master Control).
