We are currently recruiting for a Junior Purchasing Assistant on an 8 month fixed term contract, to form part of the Purchasing team within our Property Services business and Communities division based at our Reigate offices.
This role reports into the Purchasing Supervisor and involves supporting the wider business in terms of ordering goods and services based on company demands.
You will also be involved with researching new vendors, placing orders, tracking deliveries, updating order records and assisting finance with assigning costs.
The focus within this role is to ensure purchases made meet requirements of operational teams and best value for the business.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for an individual who has had exposure to Purchasing or Construction materials and is looking to develop there career within Purchasing and Supply Chain.
You will have excellent communication skills to forge relationships with internal and external suppliers / customers. Due to the nature of this role, a proficiency in MS Office is required and it would be an advantage to have experience of COINS or similar purchasing software.
