We’re looking for creative, empathetic and resilient carers to join our Residential Care team as Relief Residential Care Officers.

You’ll be passionate about care and deeply committed to helping children and young people with disabilities or challenging behaviour to experience life.

As an important member of our team, you’ll :

  • Provide residential care for children and young people which includes short breaks and overnight stays
  • Work closely and consistently to promote the wellbeing of children and young people with disabilities
  • Draft and adhere to specific care plans
  • Understand and meet the diverse needs of each and every child
  • Establish a trusting relationship with colleagues, parents, children and young people
  • Remain calm and show resilience when handling children and young people who display challenging behaviour
  • All applicants must be computer literate to a basic level and will have knowledge and / or experience of the caring profession and able to work with aggressive and challenging behaviour.

    You must have some knowledge or experience of the caring profession in a residential setting.

    Our Residential Care Homes are based in the following locations :

    Mainstream Children's Homes (ages 8-18 years) G4 :

  • 67 Albion Street, Spalding
  • 91 Eastgate, Sleaford
  • 33 Northolme, Gainsborough
  • Children with Disabilities Children's Homes (ages 5-18 years) G4 :

  • The Beacon, Grantham
  • Haven Cottage, Boston
  • Denton Ave (G4) in Grantham is semi-independent accommodation for 16 to 18 year old young people who are preparing to leave care and start the transition to independence and adulthood.

    Our care homes operate an all year round 24 hour care service; this includes night shifts and waking night duties.
