Bristol Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Patient Safety Observer (PSO).

The Patient Safety Observer (PSO) utilizes MedSitter remote patient safety audio and video monitoring technology, to remotely observe patients.

This technology allows a Patient Safety Observer the ability to follow multiple patients in collaboration with unit clinical nurses.

This role will also include in-person patient monitoring and care to support the teams. Are you a PCA,Nursing Student, EMT or someone applying to PA school looking to join the healthcare team and make a bigger impact?

Here is a great opportunity.

The successful candidate will provide one-on-one companionship and supervision with patients via remote technology. The PSO will observe, communicate and document behaviors and alert the patient care team of behaviors that could be disruptive to the patient care plan.

Additionally the PSO will notify the care team of any patients that are having repeated concerns through the remote technology.

Remote observation training will be provided to the best qualified candidates. Multiple openings for days and nights / 12 hour shifts available.

The objective of this role is to provide enhanced monitoring to improve patient safety, improve patient satisfaction and aid in the successful care plan for each patient.
