UK Operations is at the heart of BBC News’ creative technical and production capability. We are responsible for gathering all the news on location across all platforms, as well as all news studios at NBH and Millbank in London and at MediaCity in Salford.
Output Operations is a key part of this work. We operate 24 / 7 at the heart of BBC News’ creative, technical and production capability.
Our teams support programme output across Radio, TV and Online and our schedulers are a highly valued and integral part of the operation.
We work with a wide range of News output including for example Today, PM, Sports, World Service English and Language Service programming in Radio, and in Television, the 6 o’clock and 10 o’clock News, BBC World, Persian TV, Arabic TV and Newsnight.
We are pleased to be able to advertise a continuing role for a Resource Scheduler within our London Output Operations team.
Through our close and creative partnership with editorial teams, this position is vital to scheduling staff and resources to programme output, across both TV and Radio facilities.
