Job Purpose

Provide support to the Finance Business partners in providing financial information and decision support to the Management Board, Divisional Commercial teams and Enabling teams within the Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management and Reporting

  • Control recharges for overseas jobs ensuring all costs are summarised accurately, soft copied for invoice backup, and reconciled on a monthly basis.
  • Control and complete the posting of the Time Allocation process.
  • Prepare and process journals as required.
  • Process credit checks on existing and potential clients, subcontractors and suppliers as required, retaining soft copies.
  • Control and analyse data for mobile phones including reporting, posting and cancellations of contracts.
  • Process HSQE transactions.
  • Monitor and report on vendor postings and backlogs.
  • Ensure relevant data backups are performed as required on a regular basis and assist with other Finance administrative processes.
  • Cash Management and Forecasting

  • Assist with monitoring project cashflows and producing monthly and long-term cash forecasts as required, including holiday cover.
  • Skills & Experiences

  • Good understanding of accounting processes and procedures.
  • Good IT skills and confident in the use of MS Excel, Word & Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via email, telephone or in person at different levels.
  • Good organisational and workload management skills specifically with the ability to prioritise own work.
  • Integrity and understanding of care needed with sensitive information.
  • Able to respond to changing priorities and manage high volume of work.
  • Qualifications

  • University degree; GCSE Maths - minimum grade B.
