You will be working as a Learning Support Worker, supporting people to learn a whole range of life skills, to help them develop and grow.
You will be compassionate, patient, willing to listen and someone who acknowledges people's feelings. Some of the activities include walking, particularly in the rain or near rivers, visiting stately homes and gardens, swimming, going to local groups and cafes.
We now have a part-time Learning Support Worker (15 hours per week) opportunity in the Thame, Oxfordshire area.
Ideally we are looking for 3 days a week, Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's (5 hours a day) all are day-time roles with core hours between 9.
00am and 4.00pm, though some flexibility may be required at times depending on the activity you are undertaking.
Although we welcome people who have worked as Healthcare worker, Teaching Assistants or similar, you don't need experience, as we provide full free training.
There is also some personal care involved with these positions.
