Position Overview

First and foremost, we're looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven and personable candidate, who's keen to learn and grow within our business development team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for creating excitement about HiveMInd Consulting and the value we can provide to clients.

You'll research and identify new business opportunities, initiate first contact through outbound phone, email and social channels and generate new business leads.

You'll be coached in managing business conversations with potential exec-level clients to qualify opportunities for our advisory and consulting services.

You'll get to work alongside an extremely passionate, supportive and experienced team, in a fast-growing scale-up business, establishing a career with a leading consulting industry disruptor.

This is a remote / home based role so requires a strong work ethic with confidence to work autonomously.

Progression

We're initially hiring for 2 of these roles, looking to promote within the first year to a Team Leader position within a growing team, with the opportunity to also progress into an account director role within a similar timescale.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business leads and relationships
  • Use prospecting and research tools, coordinate with the Account Director to qualify opportunities; prepare for and book sales meetings with target prospects.
  • Work with sales and marketing team to execute business development process
  • Conduct business development best practices with email, phone, and social to connect with new prospects.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the sales team to develop and implement appropriate prospect communication plans
  • Work internally with other departments to ensure quality and quantity of new leads
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual lead generation and pipeline development targets
  • Required Experience / Skills :

    Essential

  • Excellent written and oral communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
  • Highly motivated to succeed both individually and within a fast growing company
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to engage and forge strong meaningful relationships
  • Clear and confident communication skills.
  • Confidence in using a CRM system (training will be given).
  • Desirable

  • BS / BA degree
  • Knowledge of Technology and Consulting industries
  • 2 years + Sales experience
  • Business acumen, ability to talk with enterprise executives about business objectives, initiatives and outcomes
